Yesterday was a pretty full day, on the whole.
Watched Bolt at TGV with dad and wei. Rather cliche and predictable, but heart-warming nonetheless. The first few minutes of the movie, I was like, "oh geez. how much more cliche can it get?"
Girl buys adorable puppy named Bolt. Father, who is renowned scientist, gets captured by bad people who want his secret experiment thingees. Father says, "I will never talk!" *cue rolling eyes* Calls his daughter and says "Honey, it's okay. You have Bolt. I've altered him. He can protect you now." Dog with superpowers?! Scientist dad. yeesh.

But later on, the audience finds out that it's not like that after all. =) I shan't spoil it for you. The part I loved best was the very very first part, where Penny buys Bolt. He's so adorable! The way he pounces on his little carrot chewy toy and his furry little paws and playful puppy nature.
After Bolt and lunch, I went Christmas shopping!! There is absolutely nothing more fun than planning presents for dear, dear people, the present itself, the wrapping, the ribbons, the cards. WHEEE! I've bought quite a few decorative ribbons and I must say, they're pretty expensive =( but they're beautiful. I'm planning to bake cookies for quite a few people and put them in tupperwares tied with pretty ribbons. OOOH. Such sweet anticipation!
